Description:

1983 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

Here is a 1983 Mercedes Benz 380 SL. It is pictured with the hardtop on. The hard top is removable and under that is the soft top. This car has been restored. The interior is amazing. Totally redone. The leather seats look amazing the wood grain looks. The bench behind the seats has be redone and it two speakers in the bench now. The radio is after market we could not find a factory radio head to put but we did get a current bluetooth with USB port radio to keep up with the times. This car cruises great on the highway it really drives well. I am helping out a family friend here. I am an auto broker and I helped this gentleman get a new car and now I am helping him sell his old car. He bought it as a nostalgia item. He had this same model back in the 80's when he met his current wife. So when the opportunity came to buy a similar model he jumped at the chance and he restored it too look the same as the one he has in the 80's. I have receipts here showing he paid $10,000 just on the interior alone. The paint hold an excellent shine there are no rust spots in the paint and interior is gorgeous. This isn't some Barrett Jackson show stopper but this is a very very nicely done 380 SL. This is a car for someone who wants to be able to drive it and not worry if a rock chip is gonna happen or have to drive with worries. This is a super clean super presentable and nice enough to bring to your local Friday Night car show and be shown off. Its also a driver something you can take out on the weekends not be fretting and worrying about other people sharing the road with you. The car is located in Howard Beach. If you are interested you can give us a call at 718-839-4437 is Dom and 516-351-4724 Anthony. I even have the original owners manuals from 1983 along with the manual for the Pioneer radio that was installed.
As far as the title, this car was owned and registered in CT. In CT a car over 20 years old is no longer sold on title but on transferable registration. So like I stated I am selling this car for a private individual an old family friend. I am an auto broker if you prefer a title I can get a title but then the title will show you are buying it from a dealer. I have already brought the transferable registration to my local NY DMV and showed them the documents it is all legit and 100% transferable. I will offer to get a title for you if you prefer a title. Any questions feel free to email me at ascalfanijr@gmail.com or call or text either of the phone numbers. We also have the car listed locally. I will let the bidding process play out if someone bids but if there are no bids and I get an offer locally I reserve the right to end the auction early. The vehicle will not be sold for less than the first bid amount so you do not have to waste your time asking for a cheaper price you will get turned away. So if you wanna bid early. Thank You
As far as shipping buyer is responsible for shipping. If you need help or a quote I can help with that as my Uncle owns a shipping company with 3 trucks on the road so I can ask for that but you would be responsible for paying them directly. And obviously no car would be shipped out until payment is received for the car itself.
At the close of auction a deposit is required with 48 hours otherwise I will move down the line and offer it to other bidders. If you get in contact and we make other arrangements that is fine but a deposit is expected within 48 hours.
