Mercedes Benz 300 SELang Heckflosse ( fin tail limo), manufactured in late 1964, first registered in USA by in 1966 which was the last year of production for this model.
One of only 1530 ever manufactured.
32000k ( odometer reading) original factory grey/cream paint in great condition (one or two panels may have had touch up)
Car is equipped with 3.0 liter fuel injected M186 ( similar motor as the gullwing) factory eng. 4 speed automatic. A special order heavy installed heavy duty a/c heater unit located in the trunk ( super rare). Vents behind the back seat.
The 28 piece factory wood trim was carefully and painstakingly restored and
refinished in burl wood veneer. Protected by 22 layers of super shiny heat/ sunlight resistant finish.
Interior seat although not original, however refinished in almost correct materials.
New carpets, original headliner, sun visors. Dash switches, knobs radio, quite nice shows very little wear.
Car starts runs brakes shifts just fine.
Tires are new hub caps have a few scratches but in great condition.
Eng compartment is tidy original and neat. Trunk is like new. Original spare tire still there.
This car was purchased new in USA and shipped to Japan, look at the plaque under the hood. The factory books are in Japanese.
This car is a rare find in the condition it is in, one of the lowest production stretch limo Heckflosse, designed for executives and diplomats.
