Selling my personal car 1977 Mercedes Benz 280SE. This is very honest original car. Original paint (paint code 470H) with some patina here and there, but repainting this car would be sin in my opinion. They are original only once! There is no rust on this car. I can only put 12 photos here but you are welcome to contact me for more photos of any details you would like to see. I have been using this car as a fun weekend vehicle doing as much as 300 mile day trips with it. I am a mechanic so when I got this car I did service many components on it. Brakes, front end, fuel system, etc. The car works and drives very good. Only 3 systems still need to be addressed. Cruise control, central locking, and the A/C. The buttons on the climate controls are working fine...so it will blow on L, HI, MULTI LEVER or DEFROST just fine. Everything else works all the way down to windshield washers and the clock ( holds the time correctly!) The radio and the speakers are updated. When I got the car the original radio was not there any more so I just got brand new one to make it work little better. The interior is very clean. Leather seats up front in nice shape with couple smaller cracks with pretty new sheep skin covers and MB TEX in the back since the original leather was dried up from the age. I am very good at keeping everything conditioned inside to protect the interior from deteriorating. The dash is pretty much perfect as you can see in the photos and the wood trim also. I did the EURO headlights and bumpers after getting the car so this is US market vehicle originally. I have some history with the car, the original service records and the original dealer location when purchased new, all the original books and service manuals...how ever I do not have complete 45 years of records for the car.
