Shiny black 1979 Mercedes 240 SL is up for auction.( It is a 240 even though there is a 560 badge on the trunk) This is the rareEuropeanmodel with the singlerectangularheadlights,sports steering wheel and it even has a back seat. The shiny black paint isgorgeous with a fewscrapsand dents which are hardlynoticeable. The interior is in great shape and wasredoneseveral years ago alongwiththe topwhichlooks new. The top of the engine was rebuilt by thepreviousowner and it runs strong even with a slight tick on the right side. Tires are good and theunderneathis clean with some new front end parts.Everythingworks as it should with the exception of the air,which needs to be recharged, nd thecruisecontrol.
