1976 Mercedes-Benz 450SLC

1976 Mercedes Benz 450SLC with 34,315 original and documented miles. This Mercedes has always been a local car here in the Rome NY area. I knew the original owner and the second owner. Sold new in 1976 at McLoughlin Motors in Rome NY which was an independent Mercedes dealer. I purchased the car in December 2019 from the second owners family whom was was renovating a home and needed garage space. I'm selling it because I'm more of a domestic car enthusiast. They purchased from the original owner in 1981. I have most service records which document the mileage. The car had new front rotors, calipers and pads installed less than 3000 miles ago. New Goodyear tires mounted 4400 miles ago. NYS inspection good until October. A couple of small dings on the body which I tried to take pictures of but they are difficultto see in the image. There is some pitting on the door pulls and trunk lid lift. Car has original spare tire. Glass is excellent and all windows power up and down as they should. Antenna too. Cruise does not hold, it accelerates with cruise function but does not maintain speed when "set" Has original Becker radio and works as it should including scan function. Air conditioning needs to be converted to R134. Exhaust is original and could stand to be replaced. Drivers seat is a bit flattened out. Drives and runs very well. This is a very original car which shows extremely well. I've tried to point out all flaws and imperfections as best as I could. Please keep in mind this is a 44 year old car.
