Extremely clean condition 1991 Mercedes 500SL with 2 key fobs, all original owners manuals, hard top, hard top carrier, and car covers.
The exterior of the car is in immaculate condition. The paint is smooth with almost no scratches or dents. A few rock chips on the hood which have been filled with touch up paint. The hard top is also in great shape, no scratches at all on the hardtop and all of the car's glass is in good condition. The lift cover on the driver's side has slight bubbling on the paint, could be easily sanded and sprayed. All 4 wheels are Michelins with good tread left on them. All 4 wheels have pitting on the chrome on the inside of the spokes.
The interior is in beautiful condition for being almost 30 years old. The driver's seat has a little bit of wear on it, but the passenger seat and the carpets look like brand new. All of the wood is in good shape with no cracks. All of the accessories work, lights, power locks, power windows, radio. The instrument cluster has a small crack near the reset button and the driver's sun visor trim is missing. However, the dome lamp cover, the rear view mirror, and the sun visors are all in excellent condition with no cracking. Dashboard is perfect. All of the electric seats work. Antenna works. Storage compartments in the dash and the doors all open and close. A/C blows ice cold from all of the vents.
Convertible top works perfect, no issues here at all. No leaks, squeaks or other issues with the top. The soft top has been replaced at one point and is in fantastic condition, no wear or tear on the fabric. The plastic window has yellowed slightly but is still clear enough to see out of without any issues. This sale also includes the hardtop and the hardtop carrier both of which are in great condition.
The engine in this car is a creampuff. No hesitation, no leaks, no issues. Starts right up every time with no fuss and just works. Quiet with no ticking at all. Transmission shifts nice and smooth and there are no knocks or strange noises in the suspension when driving. No vibrations or wobbles from the tires, a perfect autobahn cruiser.
The car is quite honestly in beautiful condition and one of the best I've seen, if I had more space in my garage at home, I would keep it, but I don't and therefore one of you will be lucky enough to own this car. It is a clean title, 79k original mile survivor. The price is 6999 and is non-negotiable, the car is definitely worth siginifcantly more.
