The carpets and seats are both clean and correct. The wood trim, which often cracks on these cars, looks nearly spotless.

• This lovely Mercedes 560SL has been wonderfully cared for all its life--and it shows. The car is mechanically flawless. It starts instantly, runs, well, and drives smoothly. It has a very recent set of tires. The suspension is firm and proper. The transmission shifts properly, the brakes are tight and correct, and the engine runs great. My mechanic found nothing needing attention with this Mercedes.

• In the past month, I have driven this Mercedes on more than five separate three hour road trips. The temperature and oil pressure stay constant, and the cruise control makes the trips easy.

• The heat and a/c work.

• Hard top and tan soft top are both in great shape.

• In the past six months, the odometer stopped working. I have been trying to keep up with the mileage, and it is around 153,000. I can refer you to someone who can correct this issue.
