1981 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

Everyone knows the w123 chassis platforms to be one of the most reliable vehicles ever made especially ones with the workhorse OM617. This particular 300cd has covered 283,000 milesbut has been completely rebuilt with reciptis to show. The service history is very extensive all with receipts.
The exterior of this Mercedes is in good cosmetic shape and has been resprayed at one point in its life. The USDM bumpers, and headlamps have been swapped out for Euro style. In the photos you can see that the driver side door molding is missing but this WILL be included and re fastened with the correct clips. The paint is not perfect, it does show age and does have a few touch ups, and small dings. Overall the car shines up great after a regular wash. The rear window has some sort of age related damage but does not effect anything.
The interior of this 300cd is in okay shape. The seats have no rips or tears but they do need to be detailed. The carpet can also use a nice shampooing. The dashboard has very minimal damage which we all know is pretty rare for a w123. The interior is complete, all the windows work as well asThe sunroof.
Mechinally this w123 is stout. After a complete engine overhaul just 20k miles ago the Diesel engine sounds tight, and healthy. I do have a video that I will post of the engine at idle, and reaching higher rpms. Like I mentioned before there are tons of service records from things as small as oil changes, timing chains, transmission rebuilds and evening in between.
