This car has been in our family since 1976. We are the second owners. Car has 56000 original miles and comes with a Arizona Box A (documented miles) title.The 4 speed manual transmission is in perfect working condition and the OM615 engine hums right along. The Air conditioner works just great (have one extra can of R-12)
This car has never seen any snow or salt. This is the original paint and has no rust or cracks in the dash. We've always kept it stored in our garage where its been waxed regularly. It's mostly only been driven on Sundays to church, All service has been completed at the local certified Mercedes shop. This car is in very good condition. No leaks or whines and drives very straight. Front end is tight, the power steering very precise. Heater levers look perfect and move smoothly. Instruments, lights, switches, windows: everything works flawlessly. I do have all maintenance paper work since the 70's, some papers have faded over the years, but they are there.I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere. I do recommend shipping it to help keep the car in its pristine condition. Depending where your located I would be willing to deliver for a reasonable fee. I would love to keep it, the only reason for the sale is I have a more important purchase to make, a ring for the future wife.
