This vehicle comes with books, manuals, jack, and full size spare. And from Mercedes Benz USA a 250,000 kilometer certificate, folder and radiator badge.

Purchased this vehicle in 2009 to use as a daily driver and back up child hauler. After about 20,000 miles of trouble free driving, except for some oil leakage, I had the head gasket replaced. At that time the mechanic said the inside of the engine, cylinder walls, still looked like new. In fifty thousand miles, I was only stranded once when the largely superfluous smog bump locked up and burned through the serpentine belt. Bypassed the $800 MSRP smog pump using a shorter belt and went back to daily driving. I drove it daily much of the time on a 90 mile highway commute, several multi hundred mile road trips, garaged most of the time. On the horrible day I had to take the dog to the vet for the last time, the transmission gave out. But even then she had the decency to wait until after I got home from the vet's office. Kept planning to get the transmission rebuilt as it is such a fine car, but never got around to it. In the meantime, picked up two more Benz's, children have licenses so no more child hauling, time for her to get a new home.

Exterior: A few spots starting to bubble and show a little rust, small chunk missing from the left front marker. Front plastic below the bumper has suffered several injuries. Scuffs typical of an original 23 year old car with 277,xxx miles. Missing the E from E320 on the rear hatch. Missing the belly pan and passenger side mirror cover. Glue on the insulation pad under the hood has started to let go on one side. Currently has 4 mismatched tires that cam with another Benz. Expedient solution was to swap the wheels. So this car has 1991 wheels, which if the buyer so desired I would swap back with the original 1994 wheels. Exhaust system is probably due for an overhaul along with the rear suspension. I have and will include a used but nice set of accumulators. Also have a new oxygen sensor and a new tie rod end.

Interior: Seats, front and back are in phenomenalshape. Except for a scuff I put in the driver's seat the first week I owned the car with an ill placed back pocket screw driver. Wood console looks typical for the age. Original radio will come with the car, but needs to be reconditioned. Currently has an aftermarket radio with external Ipod connector. Power antenna works, sunroof, rear wiper, and three out of four windows. Driver side, rear passenger window, was caulked shut by a possibly not to bright owner, probably due to a window regulator malfunction. Same door is also missing the door speaker and cover, which seems pretty common on these cars. Car came to me without the rear three headrests. Ebay provided a tan set, which I never got around to dying blue. Steering wheel is starting to show it's age, might be able to be reconditioned. Still in better shape than most of the ones I see on Chrysler era Mercedes with half the miles.

Operation: Car IS NOT Driveable at this time. Again, this car was my daily driver until the summer before last. All at once, no Reverse or Drive, and the distinct smell of burning transmission fluid. The battery was only a year old at the time the transmission quit, but is probably dead by now, as the car has not been started since. Prior to that time no show stopping problems with anything. If I recall correctly, it was leaking a little engine oil from somewhere. Didn't have time to fool with it, so I just topped it off as necessary. The start/neutral safety switch was starting to act its age and sometime, required cycling the shift lever prior to engine start. The heating/cooling blower, was becoming pretty intermittent after 277,xxx miles and was on the list of things to do. One of the arms that retracts the sunroof air dam during closure, broke. A piece of string currently suffices to retract the dam during the final inches of closure.
