Original Daily Driver w Beautiful Patina, New Electrical & No Cancerous Rust

1961 Land Rover Series II 109"

This Land Rover has been greatly cared for and lived most of its life in the state of Washington. I purchased the truck as the second owner and brought it to San Francisco and have been enjoying it every day.
As you can see from the pictures, the paint is all original and the patina is fantastic. No cancerous rust, only a few surface spots, paint chips and minor dings here and there which all visible in the pictures. This truck is 95% original and turns heads everywhere I drive it here in San Francisco. It also climbs these hills no problem.
Glass is all intact and original, windows slide open, safari roof vents work properly and seats are in great shape. New wiring was done so lights etc. work. New Bridgestone Dueler HL tires were just put on for a smoother ride. Removable 1/2" thick industrial interior rubber matts (picture 22) have kept all floor panels front to back in excellent condition. Additional fire retardant insulation panels are also mounted along the interior bulkhead and underside of the bonnet to to dampen sound. Original engine crank also included. Rocky Mountain Explorer Shocks have also been installed.
I drive this Land Rover daily and it runs very well, starts up every time, idles perfectly doesn't smoke and steers properly. Installed overdrive works as well. It does leak oil (totally normal) and new gaskets should fix this, just haven't gotten around to doing that yet.
