With just a little TLC and this will be a $12,000 Vehicle.
Has a rebuilt pontiac 4 cyl engine,It is a 1978 Sunbird engine, 51 "iron duke" 4cyl 2 brl carb. Attached to the Land Rover transmission with a Scotty bell housing adapter, he engine isgas, ith about 20,000 miles since rebuilt, we had thought about putting Diesel in it in the future) it has over drive, o he scoots right on down the road, ecent rebuilt on the manual transmission. Newer Battery. All aluminum body with double insulated roof, x4 works great (probably climb a tree if you tried, aha) It has a heater, nd the wipers work.Replacement bucket seats, t has back seats, ut they are not installed.
Runs excellent, an be your daily driver. (has been for us) New tires, nly a trip home from AZ on them.
Manual Locking hubs all the way around so rolls freely when being towed like we did...tow bar can be included for a little extra.
This has been in the family for years and years, ots of work done to it. Needs paint, ut since it was our daily driver when we go to AZ we could not see getting it painted when we were just going to take it out in the desert.

I said is has over drive, meant to say it HAD over drive but we could not get the gears for it when we did the transmission overhaul, ut I have it to go with the LR.You can easily do 55-60 mph on the flat, little slower going uphill of course...it averages 20-21 mpg.
