1985 Land Rover Defender
1985 Land Rover Defender 110 with 215ci (Buick) aluminum 8 cylinder with gas flowed clyinder heads and 4 Branch exhaust headers. Twin Electric fans have been fitted to the radiator. The four speed manual transmission works with no bearing noises. The clutch works as it should. The front disc brakes and rear drum breaks work fine as does the parking brake. The door bottoms will need some repair but I would not replace the doors. These early doors have a much heavier door than the later thinner ones and close with a nice heavy door clunk sound. There is a door bottom repair kit available for $22.50 per door plus shipping. This is not a perfect Land Rover 110 but it is a daily driver as is or worth a fortune if you choose to restore it.
