1989 Jeep Comanche Base

Selling my 1989 Jeep Comanche, with a mostly stock appearance this Jeep has been well gone over with lots of new parts and upgraded components. Jeep is a daily driver and can be taken almost anywhere with confidence, it is not a perfect vehicle but is much cleaner than your average and optioned well too. I'll do my best to describe the Jeep in detail here but I'm also quite happy to talk more over the phone if you have any further questions. I also have dozens more photos and videos I could not include in the ad I'd happily send to those interested.Strong running 4.0 engine original to the Jeep with 173k miles that has recently been completely resealed with new timing chain to boot, backed up by an external slave cylinder AX-15 swapped in from a later model XJ (replacing an arguable fragile and troublesome BA/10), of course new clutch was installed upon swapping. Both axles have been gone through and the front has been completely rebuilt whilst also being a later model high pinion Dana 30 with single piece axle shafts. Jeep also sports new suspension components including the aforementioned rebuilt front axle, upgraded control arms, bilstein shocks, and new leaf springs. Water pump, thermostat, and power steering pump also recently done. Other upgrades include the front led lighting array which makes a night and day difference at night, a locking toolbox with key, and a CB radio (the antenna is magnetic and behind the seat currently). As I mentioned this vehicle is not perfect and I'll cover the needed tender love and care stuff here; The AC is currently nonfunctional and will need at minimum new AC lines before further diagnostics can be performed. While most the Jeep escaped any rust damage there is rust above the passenger side rear wheel well (patch panel included in sale), and is the only rust hole on the entire Jeep. Buyer should be aware while the rockers and cab corners are original (original paint too!) the floorboards have had previous rust repair work done to them. While the AX-15 was a great upgrade it does not sport some of the same wire connections as the previous transmission, therefore the reverse lights are currently disconnected.Even now but especially after those small things are tackled this Jeep stands out in a crowd and looks and feels great going down the road.
