I'm often asked where we find these clean, unique vehicles. One of my best friends cruises parking lots of retirement homes, Elks clubs, our V.F.W. Hall and the small-town back streets of rural areas near Seattle. He can spot a seatbelt slammed in a door a mile away...He'll notice when a nice old car or truck is driving with a turn signal left on just a little too long and he positively twitches with glee when a metal-bumpered vehicle passes by!If you're in the market for a clean, vintage SUV, please give this nice Grand Wagoneer your kind attention.Feel free to contact me with questions or to discuss a sale before the end of the Ebay auction listing. My name is Mark and you can reach me directly by phone or text at 206/914-1173.

CONDITION:

The photos really tell the Jeep's story. It has spent it's entire life here in the Great Pacific Northwest driving our snow -free western Washington roads. From the photos, you'll see the rig has obviously been well cared for over the years. We've found absolutely NO evidence of any accidents, storm damage, insurance salvage, theft recovery, repossession or any other nasty negatives to cause you concern as the next caretaker!

I take pride in these vehicles and feel that you should know as much about them as possible. Accordingly, here's a list of the good and any small things possibly needing attention: The four-wheel drive system works just as it should. With a flip of a switch the drive train goes to full 4x4 mode when needed, so most of the time you're able to remain in 2WD, not wearing out the strong Dana front axle components during summertime highway use.The overall exterior is in very good condition. No fading or peeling on any of the faux woodgrain vinyl or moldings. The rig wears medium grey metallic paint and has had one good quality re-spray in the factory color. There are no rock chips or dents.Rust? Well, this classic Jeep HATES rust and you'd be hard pressed to find ANYTHING here to worry about! Because we rarely get snow west of the Cascades in both Washington and Oregon, our winter roads are never salted.Climb over, under and throughout - I know you'll come up smiling!

One turn of the key and the strong 360 CID V8 fires right up with just a few pumps of the gas pedal. There's a nice, throaty rumble by the exhaust. The three-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly, just like it should, with NO slippage.Of course, there's a tilt steering column, power steering, brakes and windows. In October 2016 the entire brake system was gone through professionally. This included replacing the power brake vacuum booster, front calipers, brake pads and hoses. The rear brakes received new shoes, wheel cylinders and drums. All wheel bearings were repacked. The turn signals were repaired, and a compression test was done with each cylinder registering between 130-140 psi.Only a few hundred miles have been added since this work was performed. All four stock alloy wheels are wrapped with good tires, each with at least 60-70% remaining tread. It really is fun to drive anywhere you'd wish to go and you're guaranteed to get a "thumbs up" every time!

Please take another look at the interior pics. Most often when I come across these great rigs, the first item of business is to have the shop replace many of the leather seat panels. What you see here is factory original except for a partial re-dye to outer surfaces.Very, very cool if you know Grand Wagoneers and what you typically encounter!Headliners are almost always an issue as well. This one's thankfully been kept original because it's virtually impossible to have a sunroof model replaced correctly. There's been some warpage (not excessive) and a new wood bow has been installed to help keep things in place. Finally, when did you last encounter a vintage Waggy with still-presentable factory carpeting? The cargo area's been re-dyed, but everywhere else is original and virtually unfaded. NO sun-damaged, cracked dash either! All the glass is great including the windshield.About the only negatives we've encountered are as follows: the electric mirrors don't respond (they are manually adjustable) and neither does the AM-FM radio. The fuel & temp gauges are erratic, the oil pressure reads just as it should. The tailgate glass moves up and down with dash switch, but not using the key in the rear lock.As is typical on most Grand Wagoneers, the power windows are all slow-moving (the passenger front is very temperamental) and the power seat switches are finicky. The immediate past owner sealed the sunroof externally with silicon about 12 years ago and I've not attempted to open it.Though the system appears complete, some attention will be needed to make the A/C functional (we're not sure what that will entail). That's about it!If you're thinking of bidding on a comparable Chevy Suburban or Ford Bronco of similar vintage, you really owe it to yourself to drive and look this Grand Wagoneer over first!

PLEASE DO BID WITH CONFIDENCE and know that you are purchasing a classic from a respected Ebay seller.I want you to be happy with your purchase (and with me) and that's the main goal! Please don't be upset by a missed flaw or some unforeseen problem! No vintage used car or truck is ever perfect.Having said this, I wouldn't hesitate to drive this SUV long distance immediately.

Because of the amount of money involved in buying a vehicle, we require that Ebay members with a feedback history of five or fewer transactions call, text or email before placing a bid.If I don't have this initial contact, your bid may be cancelled. As I've outlined above, the phone number to talk directly to me is 206/914-1173.Please feel free to call any time during the auction. My name is MARK.You're welcome and encouraged to come by my Auburn, WA warehouse to inspect & drive the Grand Wagoneer. You might also make an offer as many of my vehicles sell to smart "early birds" that contact me and work out a deal prior to the auction's end.I always reserve the right to sell during this period.

A Few Additional Terms and Conditions:

A nonrefundable $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction's conclusion. The balance is due by cash or certified funds within seven business days unless prior arrangements have been made with me.I can accept bank cards, but I'll first need to send an invoice and would ask that you cover the 3.5% fee our processor charges. Please remember you are bidding to buy and I fully expect the winning bidder to fulfill their Ebay contract! You're not bidding to hold or then come inspect and test-drive the Jeep later -- You're more than welcome to do this before the auction ends.

If you decide to have theGrand Wagoneer transported, there are scores of companies to choose from.I ship vehicles regularly and suggest that you get a transport bid from Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS). They're EBay's preferred carrier and will give you a fair quote. Call them directly at (888) 817-6203.Give the sales rep my affiliate number (2362642) and they can pull up all our information for station-to-station or even door-to-door quotes.

For our bidders in Washington, Oregon and California we have a great local transport company that regularly (and economically) delivers our vehicles up and down the west coast. It's almost less expensive than airfare, food and fuel from here to Los Angeles. No worries then about a flat tire repair on the freeway either!

As another alternative, you might also get bids from the U-Ship website. You'll be able to choose a transport broker from multiple offers. The zip code for pick-up would be 98002 (Auburn, Washington). The shipping of the vehicle and company chosen are the responsibility of the BUYER.

TheJeep can be stored free of charge at my location for up to two weeks after the auction ends assuming full payment has been received. After that period storage is $20 per day.The vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. All information described above is based on the observed condition when thelisting was placed. I've done my very best to describe the Grand Wagoneer as honestly as possible and encourage bidders to contact me with questions.
