Owners Description This 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer spent time in California and Washington State and Maryland before being acquired by the car collector who currently holds ownership in Massachusetts. Under 150,000 miles. Current owner picked it up near Baltimore and drove it all the way to Boston with zero issues. The body has some bumps and bruises and is finished in brown with woodgrain siding over a tan leather and cloth interior.Modifications include HID headlight bulbs, LED fog lamps, and a new aftermarket head unit that will be included with the sale but currently uninstalled. The cabin features seats upholstered in tan leather with corded cloth inserts along with matching door panels and a dashboard with woodgrain trim. The tan high-pile carpeting is protected by rubber floor mats. Wear is evident on the upholstery and door panels as shown in the photo gallery. The seller notes that the doors stick. Extensive work performedin January of 2022 totaling $5,355 includes a new water pump, spark plugs, fuel pump, drive belts, ignition coil, fuel filter and fuel lines.

Details include:

Water pumpchanged with provided gasket.

New coolant hose installed between top port of water pump and base of thermostat housing.

Refilled cooling system, run with heat on until thermostat opened. Elevated nose of truck squeezed upper radiator hose to evacuate all air pockets. Allowed to cool and topped up radiator.

Spark plugsreplaced.

1. Plug wires replaced.

2. Distributor, rotor, and cap replaced.

Replaced vacuum hose for advance with proper fitting vacuum hose.

Mechanicalfuel pumpreplaced.

Thread holes in block were back-tapped them and chased to ensure no leaks. Bolts now securely hold the pump housing.

Drive belts

Both alternator belts changed.

Power steering belt changed.

Only new belt not provided was the "piggyback" belt off the power steering pulley. This belt is in good condition.

Ignition coil

OEM style coil was installed. Harness was pinned out and spliced onto the provided coil connector.

Fuel filter

Replaced allfuel linesrunning to and from the filter. New hose clamps installed.

1. Air filter changed.

2. Oil filter and oil change

Repaired climate control duct under steering column

Blower motor connection cleaned, and blower motor restored to working order.

Replaced all exterior lamps.

Owners Comments 4WD does engage, but is pretty finicky. Tech looked at it and said that it is a vacuum leak to the actuator. Air Conditioning will need to be addressed to function properly All windows work, some slower than others and could use lubrication. Rear window has been fully rehabbed in 2022 Unknown if Cruise Control in functional.
