Up for sale my 1987 Jeep Wrangler Laredo with only 44k original miles on it. That was the first year AMC used “Wrangler” name for its Jeeps. Its a 4.2L straight 6 with manual transmission. It’s mostly original, with original interior in excellent shape, original paint, engine, transmission and transfer case. Jeep was originally sold in Glenwood springs, CO and spent it’s whole life in Roaring Fork Valley. It has no rust anywhere! The floor under the carpet looks new. Jeep spent most of its life in a garage. Body is in great shape, with no rust, original black paint is not perfect and has scratches all around, but still shines and looks good overall. The original decals show fading on the hood and fenders, and in good condition on the sides. There is one major scratch on rear driver’s side quarter panel. Overall Jeep looks really nice and gets a lot of attention. Interior is in excellent shape. No smells, no smoke, no pets. Carpet is clean with no stains, seats are in great shape. Instrument panel, doors and steering wheel look like new. Driver seat shows signs of repaired tear on it. It has an aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth installed, but the front speakers are original, rear speakers are vintage ADS speakers, probably from the same era as the Jeep. Overall interior looks very nice, with very few signs of wear. The Jeep has original 4.2L straight 6, that runs smooth and has plenty of power. It has a Weber carb with an electrical fuel pump installed, to make it more reliable, compare to original setup. I still have the original Carter BBD carb and original air intake for the Jeep, that will come with it, so if you want to turn it back to all original, you can. The engine is freshly tuned and The Jeep runs smooth, transmission and transfer case work properly, you can drive it anywhere. Jeep has 2.5 inch lift installed and sits on 31 inch BFGoodrich Baja tires mounted on SenDel rims, that are in great shape. It has new shocks, spark plugs, Weber carb, fuel pump. The Jeep comes with original window sticker, that shows factory options like Power Steering, Hard top, with rear window defroster, fog lamps and Extra capacity fuel tank. This Jeep is truly a rare find. It has only 44k miles, spent its whole life in Aspen, CO. Was garaged most of the time. Comes with 2 keys, original owners manual and a lot of attention that you’ll get on and off road in this Jeep.More photos and walk around video:
