You are bidding on one 2 owner, ALL ORIGINAL, 66K Miles, UNMOLESTED, 1973 JEEP CJ-5. 258 STD 6 Cylinder, T-14 3 Speed Transmission, Dana 20 Transfer Case, Dana 44 Rear/Dana 30 Front 3.73 Axles. Trans-Am Red, Black Bucket Vinyl Seats. Runs and drives great. I have the original mirrors(broken glass), washer bottle(broken) and carbon canister.
Bought in 1975. Well maintained, but seen limited farm use for the past 15 years or so. Time to let it go to someone who will do a proper restoration or just enjoy it like it is. I cleaned it up, changed the oil in engine and transmission, replaced the bikini top, replaced the ENTIRE front brake system including hard lines, hoses, shoes, hardware and master cylinder, replaced the radiator, alternator, fuel pump, thermostat, valve cover gasket, air filter and rebuilt the carburetor. She fired right up just like always. Passenger seat is long gone and I installed a white cover on the driver seat many moons ago. Hood had a small branch fall on it on the passenger side. Opens and closes just fine though. Windshield does have a crack.

The odometer and speedometer work great. I did not dive into the electrical system, but of course the ignition system is working perfectly. Fires up first try. It is running off an auxiliary gas can for now. I will post driving video tomorrow. I have not tested any of the lighting, but the blower fan does still work. One tail light is broken and one backup lamp housing is broken. I did not run the rear brake lines but replaced all hard and rubber lines for the front brakes and plugged the rear outlet on the master cylinder so she runs and stops well. The transmission was a little noisy, but is getting less so the more I drive it.
This has been a great Jeep for my family for many years and would be great for any enthusiast...even if just for parts...which would be a shame.
