Absolutely beautiful, frame-off restored 1981 Jeep CJ-8Scrambler.

This is the first model year of the 6-year run for the long wheel-base version of the CJ-7. This example of the rare CJ-8 body style has been treated to an excellent, frame-off restoration. It runs and drives like new. The original 258ci (4.2L) in-line 6 has been professionally rebuilt and powers the original Borg-Warner T-5 5-speed manual transmission. All seals in the powertrain, from the front of the engine to the back of the transfer case, are tight and leak-free. The lift kit with new Rancho performance shocks rides better than the original suspension. New brakes are installed. It is fully undercoated and the rust-free floors of the all-metal tub have been Rhino-lined. I have the hard top and the bikini top. It is a blast to drive and is always a great entry into car shows.
