Description:

1979 Jeep CJ

$10,000. Selling 1979 Jeep CJ5, clean title. It is a fiberglass CJ5 body, sits on a 1985 Chevrolet K5 frame, motor (350v8), and transmission (TH350 3spd Automatic). The engine has been rebuilt less than 5k miles ago (approximation). The transmission even more recently (rebuilt late 2015). It has nearly new tread 39.5x18x15 TSL Boggers rear, 39.5x15x15 TSL Stampers front, both on bead lock wheels. It has dual transfer cases (NP205 + NP208). It's been offroaded regularly at Hot Springs ORV/Superlift and Carters ORV in Arkansas, handles rocks and mud with equal ease. It has a Detroit rear locker and Eaton E locker front. 4.56 gears. Yellow stuff brake pads front. Skid plates and differential armor. 4link rear suspension, leaf springs front. Doesn't burn or leak oil, runs AmsOil motor oil and gear oil, well taken care of. It is street legal. 5point harnesses both front seats. GM10bolt front end, 12bolt rear end. Full custom internal roll cage. I love it and hate to sell but am looking to shore up some personal finance stuff by selling it, plan to move to a new Rubicon in the near future.
Note: No odometer. It's a frankenstein between a 79 CJ5 and an 85 K5 Blazer. Motor and transmission recently rebuilt as state above. No known issues presently. Recently replaced broken driveshaft yolk/ujoint from recent rock crawling trip. Front wheel bearings repacked. Drives great on the road despite what you'd think from looking at it. I drive it 60-100miles round trip to offroad it regularly.
Jeep sold as is, no warranty or otherwise implied. Must be picked up and full cash payment expected at time of pickup. Located in Benton, Arkansas. I will not ship. Will arrange to meet somewhere convenient in Benton, AR for pickup (such as Home Depot lot).
