1953 jaguar mark 7 sedan v8 auto drives needs restoring

1953 jaguar mark vii 4 door sedan with a chevrolet v8 and automatic transmission.I have started it and took a drive around the parking lot but with no brakes. [ just being careful and using the E brake.] The outside was painted years ago and is need of another paint job.It is a"generally" rust free car as old cars go. Some signs at a couple edges and surface rust along the bottom but nothing to be too frightened of. The motor was rebuilt by my freinds brother maybe 5 years ago but never got to put it on the road.My friends brother was restoring this jagwith his friend until health problems come along... Thats why I'm helping sell this forhim. The interior was started and the headliner still looks good but the critters have gotten to the seats and a couple door panels. Ithas some of the chrome, ights etc., ut is missing the grill, ront bumper, nd misc trim from the sides etc. Some of the dash and wood trim is missing as well. I thinkmost of the sunroof stuff is still here.A one piece windscreen installed and glass work is done. They have a large single gas tank in back instead of the duel tanks.It needs work but as I said, t did start and drive and what appears to be a fairly solid frame and body. [Could be a fun and unique restomod with maybe lime green paint, custom wheels grill and dash]. But for the purist is a good solid platform to start with. Unknown miles. Please ask about a particular part if you dont see it in the pics. or any other questions. I dont have much knowledge of its history but will try my best. Thanks.
