Description:

1958 Jaguar Mark VIII

I'm am selling my project that I am unable to finish. Due to injury, I cannot continue the restoration and the car has just been sitting in our garage for years now. I finished stripping and repainting the frame. I was almost finished with the underside of the body. I welded in a new trunk floor. NOW: The car was put back together just enough so that it can roll out of my garage and onto your trailer. Suspension gently put back on, engine placed back in, and the seats set back inside. The seats are not currently bolted down, I just put them back in there.
I purchased a parts car and stripped off what was left. That means I now have a second set of doors, extra fuel tanks, two heater boxes and blowers, two front suspensions, two rear axles, 9 rims and tires (4 on the car now and 5 with old tires), two backseats, extra front quarter panels, etc.
I have a LONG list of new and used parts that I purchased. I was trying to buy replacement parts early so that I had them ready as I restored the car. Now I have boxes and boxes of new and used parts. A list of the parts purchased is here:

We've spent almost $8500 total on the car and the parts. You can see a detailed breakdown on the spreadsheet link. The finished value of the car is hard to say. Typically $50K and up for a quality restoration.
1958 Jaguar Mark VIII (Mark 8) Sedan. 57,280 miles. Manual transmission. Clean title.
You must transport. If you are local, you will likely need to make multiple trips to take all the parts, doors, etc. It would probably all go in one trip with a rental box truck and a car hauler trailer. If it were me, and I were not local, I would rent a nice big box truck and a car hauler trailer to move it all in one shot with a one way rental.
*Cash, bank transfer, or personal check with plenty of time to clear the bank first (at least a week). Cashier's check only if I go to the bank with you and we get it together. NO credit cards, Paypal, money order, etc.
This is a big project, but also an excellent opportunity! It was a dream of mine and I wish I was able to finish it. These Jaguars are beautiful and not easy to find.
