Description:

1967 Jaguar 420

You are bidding on a Classic 1967 Jaguar 420 finished in Maroon over Maroon Leather Interior and Chrome wire wheels. Optioned as well with Factory AC and Power Steering. It remains exactly as it came from the Factory February 1st 1967 as documented on the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate accompanying the car (see photo).
Produced for just 2 years (1967 and 1968) and with only 10,236 total production and an estimated roughly 500 remaining, the Jaguar 420 saloon is a very rare Jaguar. the venerable Jaguar 4.2L 6 cylinder engine with dual HD8 SU carbs the 420 replaced the S-Type in the Jaguar model line up.
This particular 420 is an older restoration and has been with the same owner for the last 20 years. Original owner was in Atlanta GA and the car has been a Southern car its entire life. Included with the car are lots of receipts for restoration work performed (Stainless Steel exhaust, Stainless brake hoses, Rebuilt transmission, Rebuilt carburetors, Rebuilt brake master/ booster and Electronic Ignition). Has all original tools in tool kit plus original jack. Current condition is still good. Paint and chrome are driver quality with chips scratches, etc. present. A few chrome bits are missing. Interior is in very nice condition with the seat leather, door panels and trim near perfect. Mechanically everything appears to be working as it should and even the AC will blow cool when prompted. Runs, drives, starts and stops but has been driven very little the last few years. A good tune up would likely do wonders.
