Pastel Green Metallic/ Suede Green interior
Repainted Pastel Green in 1953, then Pale Primrose (?)in early 1960's (very poorly, as is)
43,000 original miles
Unlicensed since1962 and stored warm indoors (Pennsylvania registry and plate) started regularly
This XK 120 now runs and drives just fine, but presently is just sitting in my heated garage. This car off road since 1962 and has never sat outside abandoned in barn, shed or neglected.
All the TEX clamps come with the car! Tons of receipts!
ENGINE
- Joe Curto rebuilt carbs with oversize shafts and new butterflies
- Original air cleaner assembly restored with new flexible fabric type hose
- New original style long ignition wires and red painted loom
- Original bare steel spark plug clips
- New cap, rotor and Pertronix ignition and coil. Have original dated coil and bracket.
- Polished cam/carb covers
- Restored original radiator with original folded copper style core by radiator expert-no leaks
- Fully pressure cleaned cooling system, main block plug removed and cylinder block floor cleaned thoroughly
- New silicon hoses
- New motor mounts- front modified to cushion style by PO with red bolts
- Coventry LUCAS alternator conversion, original 3/52 dated generator included
- New spare water pump, not installed
- Has developed a slight tick top end at idle that comes and goes. Tappet buckets are tight.
- Oil pressure spot on, does not overheat
- Have a set of .375 lift cams that go with the car.
TRANSMISSION / CLUTCH
- All new gaskets, seals and bearings
- Replaced REV/First cog
- New lay shaft
- Rebuilt shifter components
- New throw out shaft, throw out arm and all bushings
- New throw out bearing
- New transmission mount
- Rebuilt drive shaft with seal and U Joints
- Shortened clutch and brake pedals, new rubber seals
- New shift knob/shaft
CHASSIS
- Wire wheel conversion with 60 spoke painted wires- five each
- New bolt on ENV wire wheel rear axle adaptors
- Original steel wheels 5 ½ “ width - five each
- Original front brake hubs and drums for steel wheels
- Coventry Auto Components rear tube shock absorber conversion kit, not installed
- No rear lever shocks
- Original glass reservoir with new seals
- Relined and properly arced brake shoes
- New master cylinder and brake light switch
- Rebuilt wheel brake cylinders with new springs
- New stainless steel brake lines
- New original style fuel pump from SU Burlen
- New 2-1-2 stainless exhaust system (Bell) and all supports
- Uprated front sway bar
FRONT END
- Rebuilt with softer Poly bushings (Purple)
- New upper and lower ball joints
- New front brake drums and wire wheel hubs
- All arms blasted and epoxy chassis painted
- Rebuilt Idler arm assembly
- New Timken bearings and seals
- KONI Classic front shocks
REAR END
- All new Timken bearings throughout, ring and pinion professionally set
- All new seals
- Speedi-sleeves on pinion and axle shafts
- New emergency brake cable
- Repainted dark metallic blue as close to original: ENV
BODY
- ALL RED BOLTS REPAINTED as found
- Early rubber mounted body still sitting well; yet have most aluminum spacers to convert
- New windshield rubber gaskets, correct for year
- Re-chromed original Inner and Outer head light rings
- Re-chromed original taillight housings
- New reverse lamp, have original
- NOS headlamp spears
- New wire wheel trunk floor pan, to be installed
- New boot wood floor panels
- New replacement gas tank with sender unit, and still have the original fuel tank-floor leaking
- 7” Tri Bar halogen headlamps

- Replaced left rear fender with factory original (no rust through, but a little wavy)
- No spats with car
- Factory original left rear quarter with gas filler box-, used, with surface rust, included
- Factory original gas door assembly, included

- Original interior- missing Rexine from driver’s (LHD) door panel. All other interior panels are included in original condition w/Rexine as it mostly exists.
- Seats are in excellent original condition / Small tear (1”) in upper drivers squab, one tear in passenger front cushion (4”)
- New front seat cushion foams
- Original carpet and padding (sketchy in rear of each side)
- New carpet pad set (Muncie Imports)
- Rebuilt seat slides and new aluminum mounting spacers
- Original interior wood trim, easy restoration. Have new construction/veneered driver and passenger w/glove box panels
- New bare plywood driver and passenger/glove box panels with the original veneer provided
- RUSTED BODY PARTS: needs new rockers, lower front bulkhead supports, rear door pillars, left tonneau under rear vent window, front panel of battery box area, and rear lower tonneau corners, L&R.
- Rust in lower front headlamp pods/fenders.
- Odyssey battery. Have original LUCAS battery cables, battery boxes are intact.
- Body straight except for lower edge of front valance, RR fender has some filler
- Original horns rebuilt
- Bag of smaller assorted BEES bolts
- Original and new correct tool pouch, most tools included
