1970 International Harvester Other

This Scout 800A has been in my possession since 2018 with less than 1000 miles having been added during said time, split between recreational driving and occasional hay-hauling.I have not been able to give this vehicle the attention I would like, and would like it to go to one who will use it well and give it the attention and maintenance it needs, rather than let it waste away under my ownership.

Notable Features:
The front axle is equipped with manually locking hubs. The drive is 2x4 or 4x4, with a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes an aftermarket cassette stereo, a heater, a black-finished roll bar (not rated for roll-over protection), and three-point seatbelts.

Notable Maintenance Tasks:
The IH Comanche 196ci inline-four was reportedly overhauled under previous ownership in 2015. Additional tasks performed under prior ownership where replacement of the floor pans, replacement of thespeedometer cable, and shocks and various braking components.
Under current ownership, the battery, fuel pump, and differential pinion seals as well as the gaskets for the transfer case (and case fluid) and valve cover have been replaced.

Notable Issues:

Missing rear/side mirrors, cracked taillight cover, minor corrosion/panel cracking (see pictures), and difficulty accelerating over 45 mph (reason is unknown). Additionally, the right fuel tank does not register on the cabin fuel gauge and the left-hand tank gauge only reads up to a half tank.
