1977 International Harvester Scout II - I have owned this vehicle since 2010. I planned to restore one day, however my interests have changed and need to sell since the property where it's sitting is being sold January 2024.
I have the original window sticker in a frame as the paper is getting worn (see picture).It was originally sold in Columbia, SC and I owned in Greenville, SC. I purchased from an owner in SC.
The Scout has many factory options including 4X4, 304V8, AT and factory A/C. This would be a great vehicle to restore or for parts.
The color is royal blue/purplish color. It was this color when I purchased the vehicle.
I was told the odometer had only turned over once, I drove maybe 1500 miles in my ownership. I have a clear SC title for the vehicle.
The Scout sat under a carport for years, a tree limb fell on the carport a few years ago and I did not realize that water was getting thru the carport. There is now some water damage, see pictures. Also the soft top is damaged and needs replaced. I do not have a hard top. The A/C never worked (in my ownership) but the compressor and I believe all parts are there. The vehicle is currently sitting under a tarp so no more damage has occurred since these pictures from a couple months ago.
It has sat for around 8 - 10 years. The last time it was started was in 2015. It did start at that time, however it has sat since. When the vehicle was parked it had small oil and transmission gasket leaks but ran and drove fine. The tires are dry rotted. The roof does not seal well on passenger side and see pictures for water damage.
Vehicle comes with original window sticker, owners manual and box of paperwork dating back to 90's.
VEHICLE MUST BE REMOVED BY JANUARY 28, 2024 AS THE PROPERTY IS BEING SOLD.

Vehicle must be towed and driveway is 9 feet wide at one point.
