Description:

1977 International Harvester Scout

My Scout is the cleanest one I've come across not restored, has 106,500 correct miles. One owner history, stayed in the family since new. Was never sold too the public, this was given away with 3 others in 1977 during an International contest regarding maintaining your Fleet trucks. Equipped with a 345 engine, Auto trans, AC, Chrome factory wheels in like new condition, roof rack, AM/FM radio works perfect, Very tight column with tilt wheel, cruise control. All gauges work, speedometer is GPS correct with the factory size tires it had when I picked it up, now has 31/10.5 for a cleaner look. Tires are brand new, Window tint is a lighter 20% too protect the dash and interior from sun. Im a tall guy and like the tilt wheel down a bit, so I changed out the factory wheel for a nice wood look Grant wheel, I still have the factory one also. No damage on the interior, drivers seat bottom has been replaced with a different pattern which I was still searching for the OEM fabric to replace it to factory condition. Drives very good for its age, great power from the 345 engine, transmission up shifts and down shifts perfect. Ac belt was off of it when I bought it. Compressor turn freely, and AC fan and switches work. Might just need the belt put on and charged, I have the correct belt. Had one repaint back in the late 80's. Body is solid, no body work, original bumpers, still has tow bar mounts up front, easily removable. In my opinion it is an 8 out of 10 for a Un restored Scout. The last few pictures were with the original size tires and without the window tint. For sale locally so I reserve the right to end the sale early if sold.
