Here's your chance to acquire a great investment truck. 1971 International 1200 Series HD 3/4 Ton Short Wheelbase 2WD Automatic! This is an ex government truck. WizVin states the Vin as a "model unknown". Very few were produced and these weren't available to the public. Division of Forestry Department of Natural Resources Airfield Tank Truck. Tank was removed and truck was used for a cattle hauler from eastern to western KY and back. The 392 V8 automatic is mated with a DANA 60 rear end. These trucks have a ton of torque and will pull anything all day long at low RPMs. Dual battery truck with auxiliary for AC/DC use. Both batteries are currently dead. Tires have plenty of tread but showing dry rot on the sidewalls. I would suggest changing fluids and tuneup before being road ready. Belonged to an 83 years young friend of the family. This was his pride and joy. He purchased it at a government auction with roughly 12k. The cab is about as excellent as you will find. The cab corners are about as perfect as you'll find anywhere.
