1969 International Scout 800 4 X 4 Solid Truck
1969 International Harvester Scout 800
For Sale is a 1969 International Scout 800 4x4. Has Been Stored in carport in SanGabriel Californiafor about 2 years.I replaced a new battery,Fuel Pump,rebuilt the 2bbl Holley Carb runs and lotdriven and around the block drove like a stored truck would. This Scout has Original 304 V-8, 4 speed,with HIGH and Low transfer case with front Hubs Present and it appears a Dana suspension. Truck is Original will need restoration as it's a very nice 69 Solid Scout 800. All Rockers and frame are solid and only Very very little rust some lower repairs were done by original owner (Flatblack painted area) and some dents also in Black paint and small area of rust bubbles only on shell and some in rear of bed on inner left side floor and on bottom of floor there is a brace that the top is rusting no biggie it has not spread to floor . Floors are very good with only some very tiny holes no Rot, Front seats original and do work like they should and the rear seat is not bolted down and has a small rip.The motor and transmission seem solid possibly needs clutch pedal is Low, did smoke little when i drove in lot and around block but cleared up later has been sitting old ga, shifts smoothly. The exhaust is old will need replaced . Truck does stop Brakes are good. I think the mileage is original 23056 and nine 10ths. And the very Cool GUN RACKS installed by International Dealer item ?The family I purchased it from said it came from there elderly Grandpa that quit driving it years ago and family Transported it from Idaho toCaliforniathen it just sat in there carport.
