1948 International Harvester KB 5

Up for auction is a 1948 International KB-5 truck. The truck is an older restoration that was never finished, I bought it to finish but now have to move across the country and can't take it with me. The body is in great condition with a few handling scratches dings etc. from storage over the years. I have taken pictures of the worst areas, a crease on the hood, slight rust at a couple of the body seams. Otherwise the truck is a great candidate to finish as is, or with a little more body work you could have a serious show truck.
The seats are in excellent condition with only a small fingernail size blemish in the one cushion.It is still running on the original 6V electrical system, starter, etc. were rebuilt with the engine and look brand new. Truck runs, have all documentation on original rebuild work. There are numerous parts from a parts truck included, door handles, window regulators, various other cab components, a second radiator, core support, and grille trim. All trim is intact and in very good condition. Hubcaps have a few specs of rust, but no dents.
It comes with two windshield frames, but the windshield glass will need replaced. Door and rear glass are all intact.Two of the rear tires have leaking tubes, there is one more period type tire included that is not shown in the pictures.Wheel cylinders are leaking/seized from setting and the brakes do not work but everything is there.
