3rd owner of this great running 1968 gmc c2500. Numbers matching t400 transmission and 396 . Transmission was rebuilt 15000 miles ago (leaks a little out of aftermarket pan). Heads were rebuilt 20k ago. I have most of the paper work for repairs that were done from the original owner s. New Fuel tank has been relocated to under bed with filler neck inside bed. By the 2nd owner. Bench seat is in great shape and comfy. New drive line, shoes all the way around, front bearings replaced, new shocks, brand new rear tires 245/70/16. Front tires are only 3-4 years old no rot on them 235/75/16. New high 135 amp external regulated alternator. New rear bumper. Battery is few years old. New power steering pump. New retro stereo. Behind seat 8 inch sub with amp ( currently not working). As always truck does has rust in the rockers and some in floor boards. Truck is very reliable. Few issues are left turn signal doesn't work when brakes are applied just stays on. Has a belt squeal around 1200rpms. Engine leaks oil around pan maybe rear main seal. Rear pinion seal leaks. Trailer hitch is off of 90s suburban and is attch to 3/8 steel brackets that are bolted to the frame. I love this truck but I want to get a crew cab squarebody for the fam. Call with any questions.
