Description:

1972 Ford 3/4 Ton Pickup

1972 F250 HighboyThis is not a restored shiny truck. Yes the previous owner put a square body Chevy bumper on her. Brand new wheels and tires. This is a Good running driving and good looking dent free and almost completely rust free truck that can be driven and enjoyed. Or restored. I am not going to shine it up or try to make it look like something its not. It has a small rust through on the drivers side floor. Pictured. Easy fix without replacing pan. It has bondo on the front valance below the windshield. Pictured also. The rest of the truck is solid rust free. Frame is solid as well. Even the tool box is not rusted. 390 Runs great. 2 Barrel carb. Transmission was rebuilt as well as the clutch is new. Has 4:10 gears. It's a gas hog. 4 wheel drive works as it should. Brakes are manual as well as steering. I do have a 1968 Steering wheel that is more appropriate for Manual steering that will go with truck. Brakes are good. Rear main leaks. Drips is all. Does not have rear tank anymore. Speedometer no longer works. Her name is Blue Bell. She gets attention wherever she goes. Be prepared for Horn honking, and thumbs ups wherever you drive. I have had people tell me that somebody swapped bodies on this truck. The guy I got it from was told that it was a factory camper special order. That the body was swapped by Ford when new. Supposedly Camper specials were only two wheel drives. However, they could be special ordered for a 4x4. Anyway you slice it, its a great solid truck. The truck was taken out of service two owners ago and put as a Vintage vehicle title in Utah. Meaning it could only be driven to parades, car shows, etc. I have a video of truck running below. Ask any and all questions before bidding. I can send specific pictures. Just ask.Happy Bidding VIDEO BELOWhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8rLWhg2Dgo
