1935 Ford Model 48 Convertible Sedan 4 doors
1935 Ford Model 48
This is a very rare 1935 Ford sedan convertible. I purchased it at an estate sale as part of a 2 car buy, and at 74 i probably wouldn't get the project done. It is rust free and pretty much complete. There are new chrome parts ( handles, hood ornament, hubcaps) and rubbers in boxes that come with the car. It has an almost new Lebonney top, that I don't think has ever seen rain. The wheels are powdercoated, and i was going to have the body painted a gray color with the black top and the green wheels. It has early juice brakes and converted to 12 volts by previous owner. The engine has all new ignition system with Mallory distributor. I replaced the fuel system from tank to carburetor. It starts and runs great, It is a running and lot driving project that has no upholstery but does have both seats complete. The dash has newer non stock gauges. As an add, i purchased a set of later front spindles to upgrade the brakes. There's a $500 deposit . I will assist with delivery, but shipping is buyers responsibility. Clean clear N.C. title in my name. Thanks
