I bought the car in May of 1998 and for the exception of a few years, has been on the road for the majority of that time. In October of 2022 I took it off the road in running, drivable condition. I have three other vehicles on the road and the total insurance bill was too much to handle with me being retired. One vehicle had to go! My wife "suggested" it be this one. As she thought the car too fast for a now old man. This has a Speed Density computer system which means it has no mass air flow sensor and thus trickier to tune. But it can be done as I've done it for years. The engine is not stock, equipped with long tube headers, 70 MM throttle body. However, it has highway gears and will cruise 80MPH all day long. The current state of the car is as follows: The A/C is all there but will need to be converted to 134. It has no radio but has power retractable seats in great shape because of seat covers installed since day 1. The headlights are new and so is the rug. From what I gather, the car was bought and remained in Florida its entire life and although it needs a paint job and has one rust spot on the roof, the body and glass are in great shape. As one can imagine, I've done a ton of work to it in 25 years...too much too list here. I did install new timing chain, updated to 90 amp late model alternator with the heavier wiring, valve cover gaskets and assorted belts, hoses etc. There's also a rebuilt distributor. Just about every electronic engine control sensor has been replace at some time. So there it is...a car worth saving. Car does not run at the present time and will need to be trailered on pickup at sellers residence.
