Description:

1960 Ford F-250 F250 Original NAPCO 4x4 4WD from Ford Factory

Rare original unmodified 1960 Ford F-250 (F250) NAPCO 4x4 Pickup Truck
Exceedingly rare original '60 Ford Four-wheel-drive survivor pickup truck, heavy duty with 3/4-ton styleside bed payload. Extremely nice inside and outside, clean condition underneath, mechanically sound and continuously sorted, and runs and drives very well. Can grace your garage and be taken to shows or be used daily driver. My family has been collecting NAPCOs for years and knows collectors and clubs, and people agree that this is the finest original patina NAPCO one would find. Most NAPCOs were quite well used and abused. Once in a while a vehicle presents itself in society that is kind of a well preserved example from the past which is just stunningly original. It's difficult for one to really intimate how exceptionally rare it really is, especially when it comes to a 4x4 from way back then that would so often have been used typically on a farm or in government and had so many opportunities not to be kept original and/or to be less than babied; they are nearly impossible to find in this condition. It was been re-sprayed to a number of years ago with very high quality glossy paint. NAPCO was the company that Ford Motor Company outsourced its four-wheel-drive platform from before the Ford Motor Company started experimenting by bringing to market their own in-house produced 4x4 system. And this NAPCO example has low miles. Never been in an accident. Well maintained, original with 292 c.i. Y-block v8 engine and manual 4 speed manual transmission and NAPCO Four-Wheel-Drive drivetrain. It runs so nicely it's a like sewing machine. I have an appraisal report which I would be glad to send to you if you message me.

This gorgeous special order 1960 Ford F-250 NAPCO 4x4 truck is about 64 years old with original two-tone color arrangement. It can be a garage queen or you can take it to car shows or cars and coffee or because it's so tough even you may also put it to use on the trail or at the job site. A number of years ago a protective layer of professional grade matching color liner bedliner was applied to the bed so really if you want to use it on an actual job site and haul materials or equipment you will get many years of protected service from it. Manufacturers simply don't make them this heavy duty any longer like one. And if you want an alternative Ford pickup that's pushing 70 years old with the same grade of toughness, you're most likely going to come across a simple 2-wheel drive (RWD) model and that's just a whole different animal for different application. There is no plastic junk on this gorgeously designed heavy duty piece of Detroit history Americana.

Have you noticed the societal push toward electric vehicles? And have you noticed that the dwindling number of internal combustion petroleum burners have become so over-engineered and complicated with layers of inter-dependent computer modules and sensors that even the dealers -- even the manufacturers themselves -- are sometimes even unable to solve mechanical / electrical failures with them, let alone private shops or individuals being able to. That can never happen to you with this Ford truck if you make it your daily driver. You or a shop will always be able to tend to whatever minimal maintenance it may need for continuous use. And with its very fun and smooth to shift manual transmission and clutch, you'll confidently be propelled to your destination in a machine that will outlive you. It is an undisputed fact that they are rare to begin with and becoming rarer and rarer every day, and its value will always increase.

NO RESERVE --- NO RESERVE --- NO RESERVE --- NO RESERVE. ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED.

It's a very nice and cool truck as you can see in the photos and is a pleasure to own and drive, they are seldomly available, rarely kept in this condition and are typically heavily modified. This original F-250 was always taken care of and the history is known. Original records remain. It's like a time capsule from the Ford factory in Kansas City, Missouri, USA where it was made.

Runs and drives very well. It's been in indoor climate-controlled storage for years and was recently taken out for a drive around town and ran and drove extremely nicely in all regards.

Engine runs cool and smooth, the radiator was replaced with an aluminum high capacity unit some years ago, shifts smoothly, drives straight and stops well too.

Doesn't leak fluids and doesn’t smoke.

It was repainted many years ago. Has some storage very minor dents / garage rash, tiny scratches here and there on the body as expected of a vehicle that is pushing 70 years old.

Tires have tread but are quite old, and although they've been indoors for years and I would not recommend flying in and expecting to jump in the driver's seat and flying down the highway without first replacing tires, getting a battery and doing other typical maintenance/safety items. The tires are more than 20 years old at this point. I would NOT recommend driving without replacing the tires and having a complete, professional safety inspection done (even in town the way I did and despite the fact that I did).

That being said, doing so should be done very quickly and then I see no reason why you can't drive it across the country if doing so is your particular cup of tea.

Please submit all offers. You needn't consider that your offer might be too low. You can even submit an offer for $1,000 if you like and I will commit not to being insulted by an offer no matter how low it is. You may want to consider, however, that as offers come I will note the current highest three (3) offers on the bottom of the listing in updates, assuming the offer offeror agrees that that offer still stands after it expires. In other words, if it's a take it now or leave it offer I will not not include that in the top 3 offers indicated below.

Clean and clear title in hand.

All inspections are welcomed before submitting an offer. Do not submit offer or bid with the expectation you will only inspect after submitting your offer or bid, which is disallowed and not according to eBay community standards and norms.

Non-refundable $500 deposit is due via PayPal within 24 hours of agreed price on eBay or completed eBay auction.

Remainder of agreed price or completed eBay auction price is due within 7 days of agreed price or auction close.

For transport I can get preferred pricing, and handle that part for you if you wish, or I also have an excellent international car shipping broker to recommend, handling transport and customs clearance and paperwork, etc.

I am a nice seller and will work with you for any special requests or extra services you need

If you are shipping overseas and if you want extra things to be ordered and put inside we can handle that for you.

Concierge service is offered for a modest extra fee where all you have to do is pay and otherwise not lift a finger. In other words, for a simple transaction where you're just buying it and want it to show up at your doorstep or garage without doing much other than paying, we can do that and handle all phone calls and paperwork for you.

You can take up to 30 days to pick it up or get it transported out but be advised I am going on vacation for about 28 days starting about 10 days after the listing ends. If you are picking it up within that window I can probably leave the keys with the neighbor for you to pick it up or otherwise have them turn off the alarm and open the garage for a transport carrier to pick it up or to have it transported to the Port of Miami. If for some reason the neighbor is also away when you want to pick it up then you may have to wait for me to get back. Storage is free for 30 days assuming you pick it up or have it picked up by the 30th day. If you pick the pickup within 30 days of the listing close, you will pay nothing for storage. However, starting at the 31st day of storage buyer is responsible for storage charges of $125 per day which shall be retroactively calculated to start at the 1st day of storage, which is the day the listing closes in a sale to you. This rule is meant to avoid people trying to take advantage of storage. If you know in advance (before the listing closes in a sale to you) that you will need something like 40-45 days of storage or thereabouts, then contact me and we can work it out with a waiver in advance so you may not have to pay anything for storage. We don't want to collect storage charges from anyone. The purpose of storage charges is not to make money. But rather the storage charges exist to incentivize some bad actors from taking advantage of goodwill and kindness on our part.

The purchase is covered by eBay's Vehicle Purchase Protection subject to limitations which generally assures that buyers are guaranteed to receive the vehicle and its clean and clear title.

Any questions, glad to speak to you by telephone or send your number and a good time to reach you
