1974 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT loaded

Once or twice in a lifetime something comes along that you cannot quit thinking about and forsome of you it is going to be this 74 Ford F250.
Perhaps you or someone in your family had one just about like it and you have always wanted to getanother just because.
Well for those of you who can appreciate a 50 year old truck that runs and drives like new and the doorsopen and shut just like the day it was on the lot back in 1973, then this truck is for you~~.
Purchased in 1973 at Ted Benefiel Ford in Purcell Oklahoma the truck now resides approx five miles from whereit was bought new.
The original owner was a local home builder and this truck was his baby. Anytime it was driven for any reasona note was made in a notebook ( that I have ) and the mileage in and out was written and the reason for the tripwas written.
This truck is loaded for a 74, it has factory dealer installed AC that blows cold, power disc brakes, power steering, AM with seperate FM receiver under dash, Cruise control, Dual Tanks and a custom ordered Dana 60 Limited slip rear diff. and the super cool package which included a Huge Radiator, Power steering cooler, and an extra heavy duty trans cooler.
The 460 starts right up,, ( see video link on youtube) Runs strong and pulls hard with its factory Four barrell carb. The main reason this engine runs so good and is so clean is because the truck had propane since day one. It stillretains the marvel mystery oil can that lubes the upper cylinders and valves since it was using propane.

The reason the Front of the bed is so clean and not banged up is because the Propane tank protected it from harm.
At this time I still have the propane tank and system if you want it you can have it with the truck,
The truck had 16 inch split rims which come with it as well. The truck has chrome spoke wheels and brand new tires!
You can fly in and drive this truck home any where any distance.
Within the last six months the truck has received new battery, new starter, new alternator, and the as mentioned new tires.
It appears all the glass is original, comes with huge stack of paper work and records and Marti report and original window sticker.

The only four placs that will need attention on the truck are the lower cab corners they have deep surface rust that should be treated and fixed. The top of the bed just behind the cab has rot in both bed stake corners. The truck hada rack from the 1970s that protected the cab and top rails but it did retain water and caused the top front corners of the bedto rot. Shows signs or decades old repair but could use some tender loving car now,
