Vehicle Details1972 F100 Ranger in very original condition.
302 v8, C6 automatic.
Body is very solid with only surface rust but roof gutter will need new seam sealer. Lower cab corners are rust free. Body is straight except for the rear passenger side of the bed at the “Ranger” emblem (see photos).
Engine runs great and the distributor has been upgraded by previous owner to the Duraspark electronic ignition.
Truck is drivable but I would recommend using a trailer for long trips. I have only just acquired this truck and it has been sitting for a long time, tags are from 2013.
I have rebuilt the carburetor (original Holley two barrel), cleaned out the main fuel tank, replaced the fuel lines and installed a new fuel pump. It has two saddle tanks that will need to be cleaned out to use and they are not hooked up but the original fuel selector valve is there.
I replaced the cab light lenses and seals. Changed oil and filter and air filter. Installed new headliner and insulation. Installed new heater core and hoses.
The power steering works great, it has non-power breaks but I have not done any work on them, they work but should be gone through.
Lights work, heater works, all gauges work.
Windshield is cracked.
It still has the original AM radio but speaker is toast.
Tires have good tread but are old, they are holding air.
I have a clear title in my name.
