Vehicle Details1979 X26 Supercab F-250 4x4, 4 speed, all drivetrain rebuilt.
It has 3:54 gears in the differentials.
I meant to do the body work after I finished the running gear but I’ve decided to sell in order to fund a new project.
The body is actually very solid with only a small area of rust at the lower passenger cab corner which also happens to be where it’s dented. I have replacement patch panels for it. The clear coat is peeling badly and looks good from a distance but it really needs a new paint job. This is a great truck for someone else to finish since the drive train is all done.
I do not have the molding for the passenger side of the bed or the tailgate.
Engine:
Original numbers matching 400. Rebuilt, balanced, bored .020, original heads mildly ported, new valves and springs, new seats, new original type pistons, Comp Cams 255DEH, Scorpion roller rocker arms,
Edelbrock Performer 400 intake manifold, 650 Edelbrock carb, oil pump, fuel pump, cloys double roller timing set, spark plugs, brand new Duraspark distributor, water pump and more that I can’t think of right now.
Transmission:
NP435 fully rebuilt, new clutch and clutch linkage.
Transfer case: NP205 fully rebuilt.
All new u-joints in drive lines including double cardan joint.
New brake master cylinder and double diagram vacuum booster. Rear brake cylinders, shoes and drums. Front calipers, pads and rotors. New wheel bearings front and back.
New Magnaflow muffler.
Tires are new General Grabber A/Tx 235/85-16 on original Ford 16x6 rims.
Both fuel tanks work.
Heater works.
Truck runs and drives great, lights work.
Clear title in my name.
