1 of 1, 1967 Ford F Series trucks

There is something pure and honest about old barn-find classics. If you prefer originality, authenticity and very limited production numbers, please read on.

Beyond being all original, solid, straight and still wearing it's original paint! It turns out that this 1967 F100 is quite rare. 1 of 1 !

The official Ford/Marti report states that of 408,224 total 1967 F series trucks, only 5,751 were F100 4x4s; Of those, 4,244 came equipped with V8s and 4 speed manual transmissions; Of those, only 136 were painted Springtime Yellow (code-M1955); Out of those, 69 had beige vinyl seats, and of those, only 2 were built with the flareside bed. Of those, only one was optioned with an amp meter and oil pressure gauge “custom cab”.

Yes, THIS is THAT 1 out of 406,224 F series trucks built in 1967!

This pickup was purchased new in New Mexico, but recently turned over to the ORIGINAL OWNERS’s grandson here in Scottsdale, AZ, where it was then parked. Documents found in the glove box are; the original owner’s manual, the truck’s first ever registration slip and the factory issued owner’s card.

This pickup is in amazing condition for it's age. The body is overall very straight and almost rust free. Except for the hood and cowl, you’re looking at the original factory paint! There are rust holes where each rear fenders attach to the steps (see pics). The passenger door has a slight ripple and there is hail damage on the hood and roof. Beyond those, this body is super nice. The hood, doors, windows, and tailgate all track and latch perfectly.

Now look at this interior! Original glass. All buttons, lights, horn, turn signals, flashers, and gauges all work. The “Custom Cab” chrome trim really adds a lot of class to this old pickup.

The factory radio had been working, but I apparently blew the old speaker. I verified that the radio still puts out sound – speaker dead.

The dash has a few cracks, but the pedals, original floor mat, seat, arm rest, chrome trim… all look great.

Now I must comment on how nice this pickup is mechanically. Pull the choke, and the powerful 352 V8 starts right up. No puffs of smoke whatsoever. No engine knocks or ticking. Also, no leaks worth mentioning. It shifts through the gears with ease, tracks straight down the road with no looseness in the steering. Steers easier than you might imagine without power steering. It also stops fine too.

The inner fenders, rockers, floor sheet metal, as well as the frame are factory straight with only a light coat of surface rust. I installed a new gas tank, alternator and master cylinder. I flushed the brake lines, greased fittings, changed fluids and filters as needed before putting it back on the road.

I decided to list it for sale because I feel this truck deserves a better home – a home with a true Ford truck collector. With money, you can build anything you want. But super rare, super nice examples like this don't come around often. Personally, I think this truck is too nice to restore. They're only original once!
