RARE TREASURE: 1972 FORD RANCHERO FACTORY 429 CAR

-MARTY REPORT shows LESS THAN 500 OF THIS CAR WERE EVER MADE. (Not to mention this was a 1 year only car to begin with!)

-Extremely rare factory 429 Ford Ranchero.

-The vehicle has been inspected & every deficiency found was renewed or replaced with a factory style or OEM part to new drivers condition.

-This car is completely original, uncut & still retains the factory seat in great condition. New carpet was installed when all the sound/heat insulation was installed.

-Completely gone through front to back, top to bottom & replaced anything even slightly deficient with the highest quality parts to ensure everything works flawlessly. Any item that was deficient was flat out replaced.

-This is probably the best original Body & metal I have ever seen on one of these cars. Looking at the body & seeing how straight it is in the pictures accurately shows the quality. As anyone knows imperfections from crashes or removed body panels with crooked lines is gonna show big time in gloss black. You can see clearly that this baby is straight! The underside looks just as good with all metal rust converted, protectant sprayed & undercoated. The title is clear with absolutely no evidence found of any damage having ever occurred to this car. That all being said its also worth noting the paint is not 100% perfect. We did get really good photos that are 100% accurate & reflective of the car but, with close inspection you will find various nicks, small chips, fine scratches & dents in the various chrome parts & the car paint/body. The biggest, most noticeable dings can be seen in the passenger side photo of the car. 2 dents without scraping the paint can be seen right next to each other in the front fender & door. Again, various small & fine normal wear n tear seen around the exterior. This why we say a person could take the next few small steps to completely restore to perfect factory paint. (Included as historic data in the 3ring binder is the factory original Ford Paint chip sheet that was made with this car from Ford. This is not a copy, Its the original with all the specs & variations from 1972 for this car.) Otherwise the pictures represent properly. I have been very torn as to whether to take it that far or not. Because I love driving it, it looks good & I knew I always could at any time I chose not to up to this point. This car has always been garaged & continues to sleep indoors, warm & comfy to this day.

-I have miles of photos top to bottom, front to back so this is a fine specimen to place on the concourse pathway especially with the Marty report showing it as under 500 ever produced. EVER..!

-Its very mechanically sound so a person could own & drive as is.., time traveling with a huge smile for a lifetime of working & playing.

-This car comes with all the records in the huge 3 ring binder shown. It's full of every receipt for anything described here in this ad as well as the Marty report & many other historical documents originally for the car.

-Engine: Stock & original 429 engine in perfect working order. This engine has been maintained meticulously its entire life & continues to be up to this very day. As you can see from pics I have hunted down, sourced & replaced every piece on this car. All the covers, vents, hoses & things that just naturally rot away after years, I replaced with Factory new. This is reflected throughout the entire car as well as here in the engine compartment. No tricks to start, No questions at all… this car is rock solid & runs strong.

-Transmission: C6 Select Shift Automatic transmission

-Rear axle: 3:25 Gear Ratio

-New suspension both front and rear. Entirely new front end with springs front & rear, new bushings, tie rods & ball joints etc...

-New Lifetime guaranteed, auto adjustable, heavy duty KYB shocks front and rear.

-Completely new brake system front to rear. Everything replaced from master cylinder to the rear wheels with all new calipers, sleeved stainless braided hoses front & rear, brackets, friction, hardware, cables. wheel cylinders, adjusters, full system flush/fluid... everything brand new & works flawlessly!

-New bearings/races, grease seals, placed in new rotors for front wheels & rear axle seals, bearings. fluid etc. all replaced on rear axle.

-New rear brakes : Every component on the rear brakes was replaced & serviced including wheel cylinders, rear brake shoes, rear spring hardware, rear adjusters and adjuster hardware, steel braided rear brake hose assy. With Ford blue protector sleeve.

-New High performance tires front & rear: I wanted a wider tire in the back so that’s over 12” of width in the back & close to 10” of width in the front. All tires clear perfectly with no rubbing under any conditions & this car turns, stops & drives beautifully.

-New 2 ½” aluminized dual exhaust with x-pipe and 40 series, Flowmaster mufflers. Everything replaced from the manifolds back & ending in 2 ½” chrome stainless tips. Factory Manifolds were retained for historical value to the engine.

-All fluids are new & car is turn key ready to go. Every fluid is full synthetic & the window wash reservoir even gets synthetic Rain-X for best service.

-Engine: Mobile 1 full synthetic 10w40

-Transmission: Full synthetic Ford oem replacement with transmission pan filter & gasket replaced.

-Full service hvy dty, greaseable U-joints replaced front & rear with driveshaft balance.

-Rear differential: Full synthetic oem replacement with posi additive for posi-trac rear axle.

-Brake system brake fluid: Dot3 550deg min high performance brake fluid

-Coolant: All new & cooling system serviced with Full synthetic antifreeze mixed @ 50/50

-Wiper fluid: Rain-X bug off & rain repellent made for top performance in all conditions. (That’s correct, even the wiper washer sprayers work perfect! Surprisingly, they work even better than most new cars.)

-New high intensity headlights: Hard to get an old school car to light up nice but this car works awesome. Every light has been replaced with modern bulbs & not only can you see but the car looks great.

-Absolutely incredible high power Alpine sound system installed front & rear with sub & modern components made to fit todays needs. High end blue tooth Alpine system will impress & was installed to look factory without cutting up the car & making it look gaudy.

-Floors are rock solid with all new sound/heat insulation mat installed throughout the entire vehicle, doors, & roof. This helps for dramatic noise/heat reduction. No expense spared on the Sound/Heat mat installed on floors, doors & Roof.

-New factory headliner with extra high quality sound/heat reducing mat installed.
