Description:
1972 Ford Ranchero
Super rare 1 of 1 1972 4speed Ranchero 500, only 283 4speed Ranchero 500's were built in 72, 351cj engine, 3:25 posi 9 inch rear end, competition suspension with front and rear sway bars, instrumentation group cluster-tach and speed inop though, originally was a California car now resides in Oklahoma, a/c car-ac is not on car but have all the components to put it back on car, needs stripped down and repainted- originally code 2j maroon paint-now has some bonded up areas paint job from probably the 90s on car, bondo mainly in the right rear quarter above and behind wheel, ive taken pictures of the bad area where the bondo is cracking out on the roof and rear quarter and the rust spots in the quarters, doors are bubbling in the lower rear corners also, tunnel is rust free and the floors are good, new side window seals, new rechromed bed trim will come with car, bumpers have been rechromed, new 17 inch tires and Rev wheels, motor and trans are number matching and appears somebody has been into motor before because it has all 12point non factory bolts all over it, engine sounds good and trans shifts out fine, haven't drivin the car much since I got it a few months back so its unproven for a long haul, have driven it on a 20 mile trip and it did fine, oil pressure shows about 20lbs, engine never overheats with the radiator and fan setup always runs about 180degree, i just put on a new edelbrock 600 carb all the other stuff was done before I got the car-has msd distributor and 6a box, new aluminum radiator with new electric fans, new battery, new alternator, new brakes, edelbrock torker intake, hooker headers with new 2.5 inch exhaust that dumps before the axle, gas tank was dropped and cleaned, new fuel sending unit, somebody hacked in a big cd player that doesnt work, front timing cover seal leaking, missing rear window trim, code ua black bench seat interior-dont think the split electric bench seat is original but is a correct 70's ranchero seat in good shape, I bought the car months ago with the intent of doing a total resto but have too many projects. super rare 1 of 1 car that I have the Marti Report on, would make a great restoration! very fun to drive and shift out, no reserve auction, questions call or text Brandon 580-774-9223On Aug-05-20 at 14:07:39 PDT, seller added the following information:
