1970 Ford Galaxie

For your consideration is this 1970 Ford Country Sedan wagon! A copy of the original title and Marti report comes with the car. This is a nicely equipped car with a 390, automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning, AM/FM radio and it is a 10 passenger! This is an original, unrestored 72k mile car from South Carolina. I am the second owner. It has been parked in a carport for over 30 years.

The ca is in good condition, it has original paint and interior. The paint is very thin in places, it shines and has nice patina. The glass is good, the bumpers are straight but have pitting. The floors and frame are good. there is a small amount of rust in the spare tire well and the battery tray area. The rear window is off track and stuck up.

The seams in the front seat are separating, dash pad is cracked, carpet faded and spare tire cover is missing. The rest of the interior is very nice. Headliner, rear seats, door panels, and trim look great.

I have had the 390 engine running on a jug and I have driven it in the lot. The engine sounded good and the transmission shifted like it should. It will need the normal work for a car that has been sitting, brakes, fuel system, exhaust, tune up etc. before it can be driven. It is not drivable.
