1967 Ford F100

I am selling my 1967 Ford F100 and his name is HAMILTON...yes my wife names all of our vehicles after Gone with the Wind characters. I bought this truck in October 2017 from a 92 year old gentleman named Butch in Hueytown, AL who purchased it from a friend of his here in Birmingham, AL, who had bought it new....so i am the third owner. It only had 81,000 miles on it and It had been sitting in his shed and had collected about 1000 mud dobbers nests all over it. When i bought it, i drove it home...slowly....as it was having some issues which i later found out the fuel filter was completely clogged. I started the process of cleaning off the nests and evaluating what all needed to be done to have myself the truck i had wanted. It took me about 14 months to tear it down to the frame and start rebuilding. I coated the entire frame in POR-15 to make it rust proof. I replaced a lot of the parts on it to get back to tip top daily driver condition. I replaced most of the bolts on the truck when i put it back together and i have listed below many of the things that i did to love on this truck. I like it mostly original so I tried to keep it true to the year and keep it original.
PAINT & BODY- It took me a little while but i found someone that would paint it for me. Harder than you think these days. The guy did a good job painting it. About a week after getting it back, i was filling it up with gas and spilled some gas on it, which messed up the paint unfortunately under the gas fill. The body is in great condition other than a few spots. The cowl vents where water comes in and drains has some rust down at the bottom. Other than that, the body is in excellent condition with very little rust at all. Someone experienced could fix that up and hopefully keep it out of the weather. It is not perfect but it is 59 years old.
This truck starts and drives great with no issues. It has been a daily driver for me and everywhere i go, people always ask me about it and love it. I love the emblem on the side as that was the only year for that emblem. I am just selling as I have a 16 year old and a 14 year old and it just isn't practical to have this truck anymore as much as I love it. Also, i don't have a garage to put it in either so it is just out the weather most of the time so maybe someone else can make it last longer keeping it in a dry space. I am not desperate to sell it and don't need anyone to help me sell it. Just want to pass it on to someone who will enjoy it as i have. There is lots and lots of sweat equity, love & attention that i have put into my truck and i have loved every minute of it. It is a great truck but i am selling it AS IS because it is a 59 year old vehicle. It is located in Birmingham, AL and it will need to be picked up here. There is no title as you are not required to have a title in the state of Alabama when a vehicle is this old. Please feel free to ask any questions and reach out to me and i will gladly share my phone number for you to call and ask questions. I will consider ending the auction early depending on the price but i plan to let the auction play out to get in the ballpark of what i think it is worth.
