1989 Mustang GT 5.0 with 75,375 Original Miles

On July 20th of 2002 I purchased the car through eBay. I am the second owner of this car.It was in pristine condition have been stored in a warehouse and only driven in good weather. It had only 5,058 miles on it.
Over the course of the next 20 years I have managed to run the mileage up to 75,375. I have been driving it less and less these days and so now it is time to say goodbye! I last purchased tires for it in July of 2018. Finding that you could no longer get the Goodyear Eagles I opted for a set of KUMHO ECSTA LX Platinum in the size 225/60R-15. At the time the mileage on the car was 74,495.
This vehicle is completely stock and unmolested. The only exception is that I installed an in dash CD/MP3 Disc player in place of the stock radio.
I have all of the receipts for work done on the car most of which were completed locally at the Applegate Garage. I have the original window sticker and the metal vin plate that they give you when the car is new. I also have the original owner book with a few other small pamphlets that come with the car.
It’s unfortunate that I was unable to park the car in a garage over the years. It did spend It’s life out in the driveway. It has never been in an accident so there are only minor nicks & scratches as will be seen in the photos. I will attempt to photograph each and every defect. I will be a good candidate for restoration. Most issues are with paint or the black trim pieces. The interior is in excellent condition with few exceptions. The windshield does have a crack.
The car starts right up and runs great. I am sure it could use some suspension parts replace but it does drive straight and only has a couple of vibrations when you get up to about 70 miles per hour. Transmission shift as it should. The air conditioning is in need of Freon I am sure. Heater works great as does all of the lighting.
The car is currently registered here in California and it has never failed to pass smog tests. I have had the oil changed as well as all of the fluids checked every 5,000 miles or so. Of course that could have been a few years between services. The car comes with a car cover that I might have only used a few times. The personalized license plates will be removed.
I am almost talking myself out of selling it but I am much older know and somewhat larger and seem to bang my head when I get in and out.
