Dig out those Beach Boys albums, if you've ever wanted to own your own "Little Deuce Coupe" here is your chance. What we have here is a real, steel Henry Ford 1932 5 Window coupe with history back to the fifties. This is a steel, un-chopped, unfilled cowl full fendered hot rod that has seen little use since the mid 70s. Again, this is a real Henry car not a plastic poser and is still on a modified original chassis. I have photos of the car from the 50s when it was just getting a change from flathead to Oldsmobile power. My info is that it was modified in the 60s still with that Olds but then converted into a 60s show/street car. Lots of old chrome inside and underneath to support that info. It appears that the change to the current SBC/400 turbo combination was an early 70s attempt to go drag racing which was short lived. Underneath the car still has the big GM rear on a 32 spring with ladder bars and the chrome dropped axle with Volvo disc brakes along with a Mustang steering box. Interior is unchanged from the 60s reincarnation and is still quite serviceable and most everything works except the dome light which is missing. Rear window still rolls down and built into the package tray is an 8-track player/radio which may or may not still work. The trunk is upholstered to match the interior and has three doors. The front gives access to the 60-70s inflatable spare, the battery and the VW bus fuel tank. Side doors open to expose the sewn in slots for your chrome show wrenches and road flares. As to the blown SBC powerplant I know little more than you do now about it. It is an early 70s 010 block with angle plug heads, blower is a 671 Dyers with two 750 Carter/Edelbrock carbs(one with choke) and ignition is MSD. The engine is fed by a new fuel pump installed a short time ago and seems to start and run well although very, very cold blooded. Wheels are all Centerline from back in the day and are very nice but the tires are also matching age and show cracks all over hence I have not/will not drive the car other than in and out of the garage. Front fenders are glass, rear are bobbed steel and the rolled pan is nicely done. Doors fit well, windows roll up and down equally well, windshield cranks out and rear rolls down. This is quite the period piece and could easily be brought back to any era in that other than engine and wheels it has changed very little from the 60s, even the paint is still decent. Wiring is well done and was done long before kit wiring harnesses. Seat appears to be original or darn close to it. Steering column may be an early 70s Firebird. Interesting trades plus large bags of cash considered. Low ballers ignore this listing and as always, absolutely no test pilots. If not sold we may be listing at a later date the rolling chassis from this car with or without engine. Thanks
