1932 Ford Other

Built about ten years ago for high dollars on a P&J chassis this chopped all Henry steel 3W coupe is the holy grail of hot rods. One might call it a very traditional hot rod with creature comforts this coupe is chopped about 2", has a filled roof and cowl, a gorgeous louvered rolled pan along with a very nicely modified three piece steel hood also louvered. Firewall is an aftermarket steel unit allowing a little more room for the new powerplant. Grill shell is also aftermarket steel and is very high quality. Outstanding workmanship all over this car with the nicest flame job you will likely see anywhere. a very stout 355 roller engine equipped with aluminum heads, intake, oil pan, timing cover and al Edelbrock carburetor. Ignition is HEI, radiator Walker, fan cooling components and headers are Limefire by Sanderson. The nasty cam lets everyone know this is no crate engine but when cold one pump, turn the key and you can have coffee in the house while it is warming up; very driver friendly with no bad habits. Behind this engine is a Lakewood scattershield, a recent clutch, hydraulic throw out bearing and a Tremec 5-speed followed by a balanced driveshaft and also recent Winters V8 Quickchange using 9" Ford tubes and axles. Final gear is a 4:11 which allows 2k RPM at 70MPH in 5th gear. Brakes are all old school Ford/Lincoln with real Buick aluminum drums. Gorgeous interior/trunk with full gauges, all lights, wiper, heat and AC. Note: AC compressor may need replacement or lube/recharge as it is stiff and blowing fuses. There are seat belts, PW, opening windshield, AM-FM-CD along with a remote battery shut-off for safety/anti theft purposes. Fuel system is trunk mounted tank with fuel door, full AN system from tank to carb including two filters, fuel shut-off, pressure regulator and braided hose. As can be seen all suspension is P&J/SuperBell chrome and polished stainless. This is simply a gorgeous car, I am not broke, the refrigerator is full so the car will not be priced as a replica might. Bottom feeders take heed. Title is a legit NYS transferable registration/title in my name with a legit Ford vin number. Not interested in trades unless you have a similar 67 Corvette L79 roadster. As always, absolutely no test pilots.
