Up for Auction is a very rare 1972 R Code 351 Ford Mustang. Car is all original except for the carburetor and the Boss decals. This Mustang is not a Boss, the decals were added after market. Looking at the Marti Report (see pictures) this is a very rare 1972 R code Mustang with a 351 Cleveland HO Motor. Only 30 of these cars were produced with the 4 speed and 351 combo from the factory.
Overall this Mustang is a solid car. The motor runs great and the car is able to shift and drive. Power steering and breaks work. This car needs to be gone over, as it has not been on the road since 1994. Electrical work is needed. The gas tank is disconnected because it is full of bad gas. There is some body rust (see pictures) rust around the engine firewall and about 6 inches of rust on the driver side frame rail (see picture). Floor pans are in great condition.
