This 1985 Mustang LX Coupe is finished in Dark Slate Metallic paint ( 4-M ) and is powered by a 5.0-liter V-8 mated to an automatic overdrive transmission. Equipment includes power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, tinted glass, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, electric rear window defroster, and an am/fm/cd radio. Modifications consist of an Autometer gauge cluster and clock, Holley full tube headers with Flowmaster series 40 mufflers and aluminized tailpipes.
This Fox-body Coupe has 129K miles on the body with the engine having been rebuilt at 124K miles by a previous owner, and is offered with manufacturers literature, a clean Carfax report, a Marti report, the Factory Invoice, and a clean Michigan title in the seller's name.
This car is finished in Dark Slate Metallic (4-M) paint and it is original to the car. The paint has some scratches and chips consistent with its age as pictured. Runs and sounds great. Only minor surface rust on the rear axle and parts of the exhaust system. The AC system does need to be recharged every year, possibly due to a slow leak, but still works fine. At times, the gas gauge does not seem to be accurate - perhaps due to a wiring or resistance issue.
The 2003 aftermarket Chrome Cobra wheels are 17'' x 9'' with Nitto tires,. The fronts are NT-05 235xZR40x17 and the rears are NT-555 275x45ZRx17. The interior is in excellent shape and is upholstered in Desert Sand cloth with vinyl seat backs, matching carpet and upper door panels. The 5.0L High Output EFI V-8 was rated at 195 horsepower and is equipped with throttle body fuel injection and a Flowmaster exhaust system installed by a previous owner.

9/30/20 Update: this auction includes: the original cassette radio, the original outside radio antenna, the original steering wheel (with cruise control - which was disconnected to use the aftermarket wheel), the original spare tire/rim, a newer spare tire/rim that has not been used, the original car jack, the original spanner wrench, and an installed battery tender. The most recent updates to the car: a new horn relay ('20), a new battery ('20), new brake shoes and hardware package on rear end ('19), rear brake drums turned ('19), new rear wheel cylinders ('19).
