BODY OVERVIEW: The body is extremely clean and straight, with all of the proper emblems and trim tastefully highlighted by the slick and shiny paint job. This is a recent build that has the looks of a showstopper.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Borrowing a newer Ford paint named Ruby Red Metallic, this gorgeous dark red paint has an amazing amount of depth to it, and really draws attention. Painted by Auto Concepts of the Carolinas, this is a gorgeous show quality paint job. The paint is slick and glossy, giving this car a truly unique look! There is nothing about the paint on this car that would disappoint. Plus, the body underneath the paint is straight which just adds that extra show-quality effect to the paint. The proof is in the prep!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: When this car was customized, 1970 Mustang Mach 1 seats were chosen. Covered in patterned red cloth and trimmed with black vinyl, the seats have a unique yet classic 1970s feel to them...and that feels just right in this Mustang!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood sits a 347 cubic inch Ford V8 engine making 470HP and 419 ft-lbs of torque. The complete engine build was done by Prestige Motorsports, and just about 3,500 miles have been logged since completed. Other mechanical upgrades include sub-frame connectors, a Ford 9” rear with traction lock, 28 spline axles, a 3.5:1 gear ratio, adjustable shocks from Gabriel, MSD ignition, a McLeod clutch, and Doug's headers.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: Pretty much everything, especially the exhaust note, depth of the paint color, updated suspension, performance and head-turning looks.
WHAT YOU MIGHT NOT LIKE ABOUT THIS CAR: The radio has been removed and replaced with a block-off plate. If you enjoy listening to music while rowing gears this could be a bummer but easily remedied. Sony speakers are installed in the rear deck wired and ready for sound. Me however, I prefer the sound of a stroked small-block
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? Not to be enjoyed today! There might be some personal preference items you want to address but absolutely nothing to stop you from cruising this gorgeous Mustang today.
