Description:

1987 Ford Bronco

I have a 1987 Ford Bronco XLT with a Windsor 5.0L V8 for sale with 79,000 original documented miles. This is the 684A model which includes AOD, privacy glass, deluxe two-tone paint, AC, handling & tow package etc. and is the higher end specification of the XLT option.
This is more of a yard find than a barn find but still a great opportunity and candidate for restoration. I purchased this from a dealer in New York last year and it comes with all paperwork, receipts and title in-hand etc and will come with a bill of sale also. My circumstances have changed and I do not have the time available to commit to this project anymore. I have never driven the Bronco, only turned it over so I can not state it's driveability or handlingetc. it's sat parked in our garage since purchase and delivery from NY. I have completed a number of tasks already (replacement plugs, wires, distributor cap/rotor, filters, belts and brakes etc.) but it's time for someone else to enjoy.
I've added as many photos as I can and also included photos from the dealer prior to my purchase. Feel free to ask any questions. Carfax service history and inspection reports etc. from 2001 onwards here;https://www.carfax.com/Service/garage/171516644/service-history

INTERIOR:The interior is awesome, the carpet is like new and overall in great shape. The drivers seat is faded and does have a small hole and arm rest is in need of seam repair but the overall shape of the interior is fantastic for it's 33 years. The headliner is good but there is one small tear that is need of repair. The dash and instrument panel and steering wheel all are in great condition. The center console is excellent however is missing the locking latch, theseare available on eBay etc.
EXTERIOR: The vehicle is shown in it's factory Medium Dark Fire (#51) and Light Chestnut (9T) two-tone paint, and does look great especially with the Bronco'sage patina. There have been previous touch ups over the years, I was planning to concentrate on these areas only and clear coat the Bronco and keep the age/patina look. There is a little fading here and there however I think this adds to the look of the vehicle,a polish and TLC would improve. There are signs of surface rust and areas of futureattention but these are only cosmetic in my mind.

The interior rear mirror has a little crazing,I was planning to replace this
There is a small leak in the drivers side rear brake line, this will need to be replaced/repaired
There is driver & passenger rust in the floor pan, these are an easy replacement ex eBay or a patch repair at any panel/body shop etc.
There is driver & passenger rust in the rear quarter panels, this is cosmeticonly and is commonplace
The drivers front headlight does not work, I'm not sure if this is only a bulb issue. I was planning to replace the front headlights anyway
The left front automatic 4WD hub cover is in need of replacement, I'm not sure if this effects the 4WD ability or iscosmeticonly aneasy replacement ex eBay. I was planning to remove these altogether and replace with manual locking hubs
The left rear suspension bracket/rear leaf spring shackle bracket will need to be replaced, these are an easy replacement ex eBay
It is missing the front air dam deflector valance (under front bumper), these are an easy purchase ex eBay
Cooper Tires (Basically as new tread) I'm not sure how old these are there is some side wall cracks so I would suggest new tiresThe left drivers side door panel arm restis in need of replacement, these are an easy purchase ex eBay
I was also planning to replace door/window seals etc. they're ok just showingtheir age
The drivers side and rear windows are not working, I've had a quick look but can't figure out what the issue is? Apparently it's a common issue.
I'm happy to help with shipping, however any costs associated are solely the buyers responsibility. I used JZ Auto Transport who were the most competitively prices and provided great service.
